APZ compliance Audit

RSL Lifecare - Anzac Village Narrabeen

Travers bushfire & ecology (TBE) undertook a comprehensive DA review going as far back as the local council records would permit. This involved:

Collating relevant DA documentation and prepare a summary of all approved APZ’s and fire management works.
URBIS completed due diligence planning and approval’s report and to clarify on the best way to avoid undertaking works outside of the existing consent.
Identifying the opportunities to implement non-approved APZ works.

This process led to the preparation of a fuel management program and submission of multiple hazard reduction certificates through the NSW RFS. This allowed further APZ’s to be implemented with an approved HR permit with a period of two years to install APZ’s around unprotected buildings.

These works are currently in progress.
