Bushfire Consultant (degree in Environmental Sciences, Planning, or Building)
As a bushfire consultant, you will be supporting the planning of structure plans and subdivisions, major tourist developments, and other special fire purpose protection facilities. You will contribute to and prepare bushfire attack level certificates, bushfire protection assessment reports, bushfire management plans, hazard reduction plans, bushfire emergency evacuation plans, building compliance certificates, coordinating, and auditing bushfire hazard reduction works and assist with improving the protection for ‘high risk’ land uses and sites.
Aboriginal & Cultural Heritage Assessment Consultant (honours degree, or higher, involving studies in Australian Indigenous and non-Indigenous archaeology)
Travers bushfire & ecology have been undertaking Aboriginal and heritage assessments for over 20 years. With our current heritage specialist retiring, an opportunity has opened up for an Aboriginal heritage assessment consultant to join our team and to expand our existing services in this discipline working through out NSW based on the Central Coast.
